Sydney, June 30- July 3

Arrived in Sydney Saturday evening and went straight to the Sydney Harbour Bridge and did the Bridge Climb. So cool. You get about 135 meters high and overlook the city, Opera House and Harbour. It was cold and windy this night..windchills in the 40s...reminded me of a brisk day in Chicago in March! And the bats..there were bats flying around that looked to be about half the size of me....well, maybe not that big, but larger than my head! Climbed successfully up and down....great experience.

Yesterday visited Bondi beach and walked up to Bronte...beautiful! And then took the bus back to Darling Harbour and had lunch, walked around. Visited the Australia Wildlife World...saw some wallabyes and koalas and then visited a pub or two on the way home. I am staying in the The Rocks...great central location for downtown.

Took a nice run through the botanical gardens this morning and am at the M* office now, updating...off to tour the Opera House, The Rocks, and Manley Beach later today...and hope to be able to post pics soon from Tokyo on......leave for Auckland tomorrow
